Description
The Texense Pitot sensor is a Pitot tube with built-in electronics delivering a signal output of 0 to 5V.
This sensor is used for measuring air speed by integrating dynamic and static pressures.
This measurement combined with load measurement (please refer to our document “Strain gauge bonding + amplifiers) enables vehicle aerodynamics to be enhanced.
The 4mm model is a very light and easily integrated sensor.
The measuring range of 10 to 76mb means that all applications for racing vehicles are covered ( IRL, Nascar, Formula1, GP2, Formula3,…) as well as certain phases where lower speeds are involved (car and motorbike preparation and settings…)
